Wait Wait Wait… What the Hell is Hyrox?
Well it’s a Fitness Race… eh what does that mean? It’s 8 functional exercises split up by 1km runs. The picture below explains it particular well.

1000m SkiErg
This ones pretty simple, 1000m on a SkiErg machine like the one below…
50m Sled Push
Turns out these are all pretty simple… Sled Push for 25m one way and back. Total weight 152 kg incl. Sled for the men’s open. (102kg for the women’s division).
50m Sled Pull
Ahh one I’m not looking forward to… 2 x 25m Sled Pulls (pulling a sled with a rope). 103 kg incl. Sled for men’s open and 72kg for the women’s division. Like below except harder.
80m Burpee Broad Jumps
80 god forsaken metres of Burpees! 80metres!
1000m Rowing
This I’m actually pretty good at, now if I’m pretty good after doing all the above and running 6k… that’s the reason I’m doing this! Do it on the industry standard concept 2.
200m Farmers Carry
Ah this I’m not bad at either! 200m pfft easy…. oh wait it’s 24kg kettle bells for the men! (16kg for the women)
100m Sandbag Lunges
Good old walking lunges 20kg for the men, 10kg for the women. (Getting off easy there!)
100 x Wall Balls
I can’t believe it ends on this… 100! 100! Wall Balls. 3m high wall balls with a 6kg ball (3kg ball for women).
